Cuzco, Peru
| Here are two
views of Cuzco, Perú. The top photo shows the Plaza de Armas and the
cathedral (where you can see a beautiful silver altar and a painting of
the Last Supper with Jesus and the Disciples sitting down to a meal
of cuy -- i.e., guinea pig, which is something of a
delicacy in Cuzco).
The lower photo is a scene looking down on the city from Sacsayhuamán, an Inca ruin. Cuzco is known for its tile roofs. |
